It wasn't easy, but Alicia Keys has finally sold her New York City penthouse, which she put on the market back in March.  That's according to AOL Real Estate. 

As previously reported, Alicia listed the house for $17.95 million, but had to chop the price of the property to $15 million earlier this year.  She bought the Manhattan home from Lenny Kravitz in 2010, and spent two years in the space.  The penthouse features floor-to-ceiling windows, a floating staircase, and 3,000 square feet of terraces, according to AOL.

Back in October, Alicia and her husband Swizz Beatz paid $12 million to take over Eddie Murphy's tony estate in Englewood, N.J.
